The Fund was delighted to attend UK Dairy Day on the 12th of September, where farmers, agricultural experts and general enthusiasts poured into the International Centre, situated in the beautiful town of Telford.
Maddy Fitzgerald (Programme Manager) and Douglas Hamilton (Project Officer) were there to promote The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme, and it was a fantastic opportunity to meet with many of the Fund’s partners and supporters, including Morrisons, Savills, Kite, Mueller, AHDB, and the Addington Fund.
UK Dairy Day is a dedicated annual one-day event for the dairy industry held at the International Centre in Telford, Shropshire at a key time of the year when plans and decisions are being made for the winter. It’s an informative day and one we deem absolutely essential to any local dairy farmer – although it does draw farmers from across the country.
We rely on your donations to support rural lives and keep British farming and village communities sustainable
