Today (9th February) the PCF was very generously hosted by Johnston Carmichael in their beautiful central Edinburgh offices to promote the work of the charity.
Sandy Manson, LL of Aberdeenshire and Jenn Stewart, Partner and Head of Rural at Johnston Carmichael brought together a fantastic group of Scottish business leaders from across the agri-food sector and lead a wide-ranging conversation about how to support farming and rural communities, and the challenge of attracting younger people into the industry.
Keith Halstead, Executive Director of the PCF spoke about our work across Scotland, which includes funding over 90 grant projects and in 2023, supporting 82 farming families through the Farm Resilience Programme in Caithness, Stranraer and Ullapool.
