Morrisons ‘Seeing is Believing’ event

Morrisons are continuing to support those farmers participating in The Prince’s Farm Resilience Programme.
Following the hugely successful ‘Seeing is Believing’ event in 2018, Morrisons hosted a second event in Aberdeen on Wednesday 14th August, which was attended by farmers in the year three Cairngorms group.
The day began at a mixed farm which supplies beef to Morrisons. Then the group moved on to the Morrisons’ abattoir at Turriff, which was very insightful. The process was very interesting and the group found out that they supply 15,000 burgers a month. The day ended with a tour of the Morrisons store in Inverurie, where the group saw the end of the process, with the butchery.
