Lurgashall Village Shop celebrates five years of success

Lurgashall Village Shop was awarded a grant of £20,000 from The Prince’s Countryside Fund in 2019, and we are thrilled to see it continue to go from strength to strength!
Lurgashall Village Shop & Post Office is celebrating five years trading as a community shop since its inception in 2018. Its success and popularity are due to the valuable team of enthusiastic volunteers, friendly and experienced staff and the many regular and supportive customers who choose the village community shop for their everyday groceries. On Monday 3rd April, staff and volunteers gathered outside in the spring sunshine to celebrate this five-year milestone raising a glass to many more successful years ahead.
The Prince’s Countryside Fund’s grants programme opens twice a year and aims to fund community-driven projects that will have a long term, positive impact for those who live and work in the countryside.
