Claire Saunders, director of The Prince's Countryside Fund, was recently invited to give evidence to the House of Lords Rural Economy Committee.
Claire presented alongside Ailbhe McNabola, Head of Research & Policy at Power to Change and Nick Plumb, Policy Officer at Locality.
The Committee, formed in May 2018, examined the role of community organisations in supporting rural economies, followed by a discussion on the provision of educational opportunities for young people in rural communities.
