PCF Successful In Defra Future Farming Resilience Fund
July 13, 2021
Defra's Future Farming Resilience Fund is designed to provide business support to farmers and land managers during the early years of the agricultural transition. It does this by awarding grants to organisations who help farmers and land managers to understand the changes that are happening, identify how, what and when they may need to adapt their business models, and access tailored support to adapt.
It has been announced today (13 July 2021) that The Prince’s Countryside Fund has been successful in being chosen as one of Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund providers from August 2021 to February 2022.
“The Prince’s Countryside Fund is delighted to receive funding from Defra as part of their Future Farming Resilience Fund. Our unique business and environmental skills training for farmers makes a demonstrable difference to the profitability and confidence of farm businesses. At this time of significant change in farming, we look forward to working in partnership with eight farm support groups in specific areas to help those farms and those families who need support to make sure that they can adapt and thrive.”
Keith Halstead, Executive Director
