Membership Criteria
A key characteristic of a Farm Support Group is that they focus on their immediate localities; they are farmer-led, responding to immediate needs in their area.
- Farm Support Groups should be locally focused, legally constituted organisations.
- Your annual running costs are over £500,000.
- You should have a minimum service/support offer, such as a helpline, training and social activities.
- You should have employed staff and/or volunteers.
- A minimum of 50% of the activities/support offered should be targeted at those working in agriculture and their families.
