May 30, 2018
We had a fantastic day on Friday 25th May with perfect weather as the Fund held its annual charity clay shoot, generously hosted by EJ Churchill at the West Wycombe Estate and sponsored by Dovecote Park.
Seven teams took on the challenging set of traps, with a team comprised of Jonathan Young from the Field, Countess Bathurst, George Digweed, and Claire Saunders, Director of the Fund being crowned the winners and Dovecote Park came runners up, both taking home a set of The Prince’s Countryside Fund fleeces provided by Musto. Moy Park won a shooting lesson courtesy of E J Churchill.
A brilliant day was had by all and an impressive £28,000 was raised for the charity.
Claire Saunders, Director of The Prince’s Countryside Fund said: “It was absolutely fantastic to have so many of our supporters and corporate partners together to raise money for the Fund, allowing us to continue our vitally import work improving the quality of life in rural areas, and we would like to thank everyone who came.
“We would also like to thank Dovecote Park for their generous sponsorship of this event, and Sir Edward Dashwood and his team at E J Churchill, without whom today would not have been possible.”
