Alexander Armstrong

Alexander is an actor, presenter and singer, probably best known as the host of BBC1’s Pointless. He was half of the BAFTA-winning comedy duo Armstrong & Miller and is a regular presenter on Have I Got News For You. He is also the voice of Dangermouse and narrates the cult CBeebies hit Hey Duggee.

Alexander grew up in rural Northumberland where his family has farmed for several hundred years. He takes a keen interest in rural issues and, as a founding shareholder in the Leon restaurant chain, has become a passionate supporter of sustainable agriculture and the many benefits it can bring to farming communities. He is deeply proud to be an ambassador for The Royal Countryside Fund.
